Smart Moves Academy will be America’s first school optimizing learning through physical activity. The Academy will foster thriving learners whose academic mastery, physical literacy, and emotional well-being position them to prosper, lead, and generate positive impact wherever they go.

The Academy’s approach to education is informed and inspired by the latest scientific research into the brain, cognitive development, and human learning. This new science forms the pillars of the instructional philosophy that make the Academy’s mission attainable.
Curriculum
The Academy values physical activity and has built an approach that reverses the negative effects of removing opportunities for movement from education, and instead maximizes movement’s positive effects on learning. In fact, the Academy’s approach accelerates learning to close gaps and open doors to greater potential.
